Terms and conditions of the NEXT FUNDS Thai Stock SET50 Exchange Traded Fund (1559) will be amended effective from October 31, 2018.

The conditions for suspending Acceptance for Creation Applications for the aforementioned ETF are scheduled to be amended in accordance with changes in the settlement cycle of the Thai market from T+3 to T+2. This amendment will be implemented based on portfolio management requirements for the ETF to minimize tracking error. At the same time, the conditions for suspending Acceptance for Redemption Applications will be amended from the perspective of investors' convenience. These amendments will become effective from October 31, 2018.

Creation

<Before the amendment>
The subscription application day, if any particular day is both a non-business day in Japan and not "a holiday in a foreign country, as specified below*" and falls within a period of time beginning from the next business day after said subscription application day to two business days after said subscription day or within a period of time beginning from the fourth business day from said subscription application day to the fifth business day from said subscription application day.
<After the amendment>
The subscription application day, if any particular day is both a non-business day in Japan and not "a holiday in a foreign country, as specified below*" and falls within a period of time beginning from the next business day after said subscription application day within a period of time beginning from the fourth business day from said subscription application day.

Redemption

<Before the amendment>
The redemption application day, if the eighth business day beginning from said redemption application day is a non-business day for banks in New York and if there is a day that is both a non-business day in Japan and not "a holiday in a foreign country, as specified below*" within a period of eight business days beginning from said redemption application day.
<After the amendment>
The section including the above statements was removed.
  • *"A holiday in the foreign country, as specified below" is a day which falls under any of the definitions below.
  • -Non-business days of the Stock Exchange of Thailand (including days on which the Stock Exchange of Thailand closes early.)
