Notice regarding early termination and significant amendment to the basic terms and conditions (determined) of the investment trust for TOPIX Electric Appliances Exchange Traded Fund (Code:1613)

Nomura Asset Management undertook a procedure of challenge process against the proposed early termination of the trust and significant amendment to the basic terms and conditions of the investment trust for the TOPIX Electric Appliances Exchange Traded Fund (Code:1613).

As the result, the total number of beneficial interests of holders who challenged the proposed termination of the fund did not exceed the required 50% of outstanding interests as of February 26, 2020. Therefore, Nomura Asset Management will proceed to apply for the amendment to the basic terms and conditions of the investment trust and for the early termination for the aforementioned fund, with the trust termination day scheduled for June 16, 2020.

End date for the demand for purchase : June 3, 2020
Date of application for amendment to the basic terms and conditions of the investment trust : June 15, 2020
End date for the trust of the fund : June 16, 2020
Starting date for payment of the redemption money : July 22, 2020
